Bad Ragaz Health Center

Bad Ragaz (Grand Resort Bad Ragaz) is a health complex that gained its primary reputation due to balneotherapy, which translates from Latin as "treatment by bathing." Today, the resort, with its famous Tamina thermal baths and rehabilitation clinic, is one of the most renowned centers in all of Europe. It has been awarded the title of "Best Wellness Hotel in Switzerland" for nine consecutive years.

The primary purpose of visiting the resort remains the unique thermal baths and health complex. The sources here have a constant water temperature of 36.5°C. Thanks to their therapeutic properties, this water is often referred to as "blue gold." In the past, reaching the springs was challenging, and early visitors to the resort were lowered into the gorge on cable ropes. Today, the healing water is found in every reservoir in Bad Ragaz, and you can even drink it directly from the tap.

The complex hosts a medical center under the guidance of the globally renowned Dr. Beat Villiger. The clinic offers complete diagnostics, therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, and places significant emphasis on disease prevention. Guests can undergo thorough medical examinations, consult with specialists, and receive individual prevention programs when risk areas are identified.

More recently, the resort has introduced a new focus on aesthetic medicine. Tourists have access to the latest advances in laser therapy, procedures such as Botox, mesotherapy, liposuction, and facial and body contouring through laser treatments.
