The rehabilitation programme begins not after discharge but together with the treatment plan. The format is matched to the task: outpatient recovery, an inpatient programme after surgery, or spa treatment with thermal baths.
Aquatic therapy in warm thermal water — classical hydrotherapy, aqua pilates, Watsu and the Ragazer Ring method — unloads the joints and makes it possible to start moving earlier than on land. It is complemented by physiotherapy, medical training therapy and work with a personal trainer.
The programme rests on measurable indicators: Back-Check and Medi-Mouse spinal tests, body-composition analysis, endurance assessment. The sports-medicine department of the partner centre has been recognised as a Swiss Olympic Medical Centre since 2004.
