Clinique Valmont was founded in 1905 by Dr Henri-Auguste Widmer and has since welcomed patients seeking tranquillity and a personal approach to care. Over more than a century, its guests have included notable figures such as Coco Chanel and members of the Belgian royal family. Today, with 120 years of experience, Clinique Valmont is a leading institution in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation.
In 1993 the clinic dedicated itself entirely to rehabilitation medicine, and in 2006 it joined Swiss Medical Network. Set on the hillside above Montreux, overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps, it offers a calm atmosphere that helps patients regain strength and mobility after illness, injury or surgery.
A multidisciplinary team supports every patient — from physiotherapy and occupational therapy to neuropsychology and speech therapy. The clinic’s modern facilities include a heated therapy pool, an AlterG anti-gravity treadmill and the refined Côté Lac restaurant with lake views.
