Vessels nourish every organ and every tissue, so their condition is reflected directly in the work of the whole body. Angiology covers the full chain: prevention, diagnosis, treatment and subsequent follow-up.
The mainstay of treatment is endovascular intervention — balloon dilatation and stenting. Blood flow is restored without large incisions or a long rehabilitation, including in disease of the carotid and peripheral arteries.
