About the clinic
The art of facial surgery on Zürichberg
SailerClinic was founded in 2002 by Professor Hermann F. Sailer — one of the world’s most experienced specialists in facial surgery. For many years he headed the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital of Zurich and performed thousands of complex operations; his methods, including the bimaxillary technique for sleep apnoea, are used by surgeons worldwide.
The clinic’s signature approach is the unity of aesthetics and function: from rhinoplasty, facelifting and facial harmonisation to orthognathic and reconstructive surgery. Every treatment plan is built individually — with anatomy, proportions and the patient’s goals in mind. Today the medical director is PD Dr. Dr. med. Martin Lanzer.
The clinic occupies a historic villa surrounded by its own park on Zürichberg hill: day-stay rooms of five-star hotel standard, a dining room with terrace and complete privacy — the atmosphere of a private residence, not a hospital.
