Founded in 1932, Klinik Hirslanden has been part of Hirslanden Group, Switzerland’s largest private hospital network, since 1990. It sits in the prestigious Riesbach district on a hillside above Lake Zurich, just a few minutes from the city centre.
The clinic brings together 51 medical specialties — from cardiology and oncology to neurosurgery and obstetrics — and since 2026 has been an official teaching hospital of the University of Zurich’s Faculty of Medicine. Its modern facilities include 14 operating theatres, hybrid operating theatres, CyberKnife, 4 MRI scanners and 3 CT scanners.
In Newsweek’s “World’s Best Hospitals 2026” ranking, the clinic holds 5th place in Switzerland — recognition of the standard of medicine and service that international patients expect.
