clinic utoquai was founded in 1997 by Dr med. Enrique Steiger and has since been regarded as one of the world’s leading centres for plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. The clinic is located at Utoquai 41, on the Lake Zurich waterfront in the very heart of the city, and occupies five floors with a total area of more than 1,000 m².

Dr med. Enrique Steiger is an FMH specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, as well as in general surgery and traumatology. He trained at University Hospital Zurich (USZ) and completed fellowships with Professor Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro and Professor Bruce Connell in Los Angeles. He specialises in facial surgery, body contouring and breast surgery. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Steiger regularly operates on International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and UN missions in crisis zones, sits on the board of Humanitarian One (Dubai, UAE) and the advisory board of SWISSPEACE, and is licensed to practise in Dubai and the UAE.

He is joined by three further FMH-certified surgeons — PD Dr med. Farid Rezaeian, Dr med. Martina Schneider and PD Dr med. Matthias Waldner — and a team of more than 35 specialists: physicians, nurses and beauty therapists. The clinic brings together three disciplines — plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine and cosmetology — and has its own operating theatre, so many procedures can be performed as outpatient treatments.

The clinic’s philosophy is built on natural beauty: results should look natural and enhance each patient’s individuality. Particular attention is paid to privacy and to a carefully considered choice of methods — from gentle, minimally invasive procedures to complex surgery.
