Professor Morel is a specialist in abdominal surgery recognized by the Swiss Federation of Physicians. Previously, he served as the head of the surgical department at the Geneva University Hospitals and led the visceral surgery division.

Abdominal or visceral surgery deals with the treatment of diseases or injuries to the walls and organs of the abdominal cavity.

It is one of the oldest branches of visceral surgery, with modern treatments focused on minimizing trauma during surgery, often utilizing endoscopic methods.

Professor Morel is the founder and head of the transplantation department at the Genolier Clinic.

For many years, he has been recognized as one of the best surgeons in Switzerland, known for his minimally invasive approach and tissue-sparing techniques during surgeries.
