Neurostimulation: a new path where medication reaches its limits
Some forms of depression resist medication, and until recently that left few options. Neurostimulation methods have changed the picture. Dr. Michael Fischer practises them with a dual qualification: he is a physician and holds a master’s degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich). This combination allows him to understand the physics behind the equipment as well as apply it. Since 2019 he has run his own practice, NeuroStim.CH, at Privatklinik Bethanien.
